| Responsibilities |
Ameesha joined Old Mutual Investment Group (previously OMAM) on 1 June 2005 and is a money market portfolio manager in the fixed interest team. She is responsible for managing various specialist money market funds including the Old Mutual Money Market unit trust. Ameesha also has fixed interest trading responsibilities within the fixed interest team. |
| Experience |
She started out her career at the SA Reserve Bank in 1994, where she was responsible for market-making activities in the bond market on behalf of the government. When these responsibilities were handed over to the primary dealers in 1998, she left the Bank to join Syfrets as a dealer in the money and capital markets but soon moved on to become a portfolio manager. Ameesha was part of the fixed interest team when they left Nedbank Investment Bank and rejoined the team at Abvest in 2003 were she maintained her fixed interest portfolio management responsibilities until joining Old Mutual Investment Group. In 2008 she joined the Futuregrowth Fixed Interest team. |
